I am a long time user of Irfanview. I recently received a disc which IF would not open the thumbnails, I deleted the old versions and installed the latest. It still will not open these AI eps. files. I'm going to send the disc to someone else to see if they can open, and make me a PDF to print out.Other than this one disc, I've always been very pleased with performance of Irfanview.

I have an older version of Irfanview and just wanted to update to the new release.

My first time using IRFAN VIEW: very quick download and very useful for my job to open print designs in high resolution, as well. Many tools available and easy. I'll try it soon with pictures and small movies, also.

not bad The program isn't bad but in the first attempt there was some error while adding a folder with photos, it stopped on 95% Meybe the reason was that folder contains over 900 photos, I don't know.. Everything else works good.

Using JPEG rotator for large files I bought JPEG rotator and I am using it for rather large jpeg files(25MB). These files are from my Nikon scanner. THe program works fine, but whether under Vista or windows XP I recommend using the program with no more than six files of that size at a time. I have not done the testing to see if the rotation is truly lossless but short of doing an image substraction in photoshot I think it is very close. Rotation Limits I am sure I would have been very happy with this program except the rotation was limited to 90 and 180 degrees.My use would require rotation to any angle.I am not a photographer. I am in graphics.

Rotator is incompatible with Java JPEG After rotating images with JPEG Lossless Rotator, while I can display the image in Java, I am unable to crop or otherwise copy the image in Java. Java throws javax.imageio.IIOException: Missing Huffman code table entry, when I try to rewrite the rotated image. I Googled this error. It indicates corrupted image metadata (from Sun's perspective anyways). None of the workarounds I attempted over many hours worked. First Pass Downloaded and used rotator successfully on large jpeg files in Auto mode. Had minor glitches both times with it not completing entire folder but worked the second time on the remaining files. Might be a cutoff for folder size/number since on both occasions there were over 500 photos in the folder in retrospect. One small distraction is that you can only select an entire folder not individual files or perhaps I missed something, Brouse only opens to the folder level.
